Author, Counter-cultural king, godfather of gonzo, and general agitator of the right; Hunter S Thompson was all of these things as well as inspiration for one of the most remarkable films of the 90’s. Effortlessly evoking the colour, vibrancy and delirium of Thompson’s opus, Terry Gilliam’s adaptation featured the former Python’s trademark visuals and Johnny Depp in his most dedicated and iconic roles.
